This research poster presents findings from a study on how word-of-mouth and social media marketing influence customers of small businesses. It compares traditional and modern strategies, revealing that word-of-mouth was the most effective in building customer connections and driving brand awareness. Due to it being such a small academic study, limitations are explained that could offer broader insights.

Supporting the final audit, this Communication Audit Plan showcases IMC research methods and analysis. It outlines sampling methods and assessment criteria: consistency, effectiveness, and inclusiveness. While created as a personal guideline, it’s also useful for internal stakeholders to understand the audit's foundation.

The final Communication Audit analyzes internal communication practices within the North Charlotte Homeschool Athletics Association. Key emphases i solaced on interactions between board members, coaches, players, and potential families. The audit aims to help the organization improve its communication strategies with their key audiences.

Brand Memo

The brand memo focuses on Nourishing Hope Chicago, a non-profit that evolved from a food pantry into a community hub offering food, social, and mental health services. It includes an overview of the organization, an assessment of its purpose-driven rebrand, and an analysis of its communication ethics and IMC strategies. This memo helps internal stakeholders ensure they are aligning their messaging with ethical communication practices.

Ethics Infographic

The Approaches to Communication Ethics Infographic highlights key aspects of narrative and contextual communication ethics theories, along with associated scholars. It compares the two theories in relation to IMC and demonstrates my ability to translate research into a clear, visual deliverable. This artifact is intended for employers and IMC professionals seeking to apply ethical theory in their strategies.

Diversity & Inclusion Presentation 

Chronic illness/disability inclusion is often overlooked. This presentation addresses this issue in the workplace while placing an emphasizes on the concept that disability, including invisible chronic conditions, is a key part of diversity and inclusion. Aimed at HR professionals, the presentation encourages creating supportive environments where individuals with chronic illnesses can thrive, highlighting their equal desire and right to work comfortably and effectively.

Digital Storytelling Portfolio

Books

This digital storytelling campaign introduces Peloton Jr., a subcategory designed to promote wellness and fitness for children inspired by their parents' use of Peloton. The portfolio includes a variety of content centered around parent & family testimonials on both the service and Peloton’s proactiveness in providing the service.
